Win $10,000 in Davido Global Talent Competition
Davido is still celebrating his 10th year in the music industry. This first decade of his career is worth celebrating owing to the immense progress he has made so far. The 28-year-old Jowo coroner went viral over the weekend as he celebrates his daughters too. His first daughter, Imade was celebrating her sixth birthday while his second daughter Hayley turned four earlier in the month.
However, on David Adeleke’s part he is showing out for his fans. To show appreciation to all his loyal followers, Davido is giving away $10,000 cash. In the tweet he writes: “Calling all singers and dancers. I am giving away $10,000 in cash and a chance to go live with myself on IG by hosting a global talent competition in partnership with Orbiit! Join for free now or share! Submissions are now live on.”
The collaboration with Orbiit is dubbed, ‘DAVIDO Global Talent Competition’ and voting starts on June 9. According to them, the competition is open to Musicians, Singers and songwriters, producers, dancers and generally talented individuals from around the globe who have been waiting for their big break.”
How to win $10,000
The contestants will be required to do a cover of Davido’s latest track, LA LA feat CKay or any cover song of Davido’s past music. They can also do a remix of LA LA or any other Davido’s past music. In addition, they may decide to make their own original song or a cover song of their choice too.
The winner of the competition will get $6,000 and the opportunity for a one of one Instagram Live conversation with Davido. However, the second-place prize will mean $3,000 gifts to whoever bags it. Meanwhile, the person in third place gets $1,000. The online competition will benefit the Wellbeing Foundation Africa charity.
Entries for the first round of the competition ends on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 11 pm. The final winners will be announced on July 30, 2021, at 11 pm. For more information, see here.
