An X user identified as Femzy, has issued a public apology to Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus following a viral post that falsely accused her of serious misconduct.
The controversy started when Femzy alleged in a now-deleted tweet that Badmus operated as a “private pimp” in Nigeria’s entertainment and political spheres.
The claim suggested she connected young women to influential movie executives, directors, and politicians for exploitative purposes, with no evidence provided to support the accusations.

Badmus, known for her bold online presence, responded swiftly on her verified X account. She dismissed the allegations as baseless and attention-seeking, stating: “This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it… this is a false accusation and Authorities will step in…. Let it be known that we do not forgive in this zone.”
Hours later, under pressure from the backlash and Badmus’s warning, Femzy posted a detailed retraction and apology. “I sincerely apologize to Ms. Eniola Badmus, her family, friends, fans, and everyone affected by my recent tweet,” he wrote. “The post accusing her of exploitation, linking young girls to movie and political figures, and pimping was wrong, irresponsible, and made without evidence. I deeply regret spreading such damaging and false information.”
