Emeka Okoye, the Nollywood actor has taken to social media to offer heartfelt prayers for his colleague, Odira Nwobu, who was recently involved in a devastating car accident in Lagos.
As previously reported by eelive.ng, Nwobu was rushed to the hospital following the tragic incident and is currently receiving medical care. The accident, which occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday, January 26, 2025, sadly claimed several lives, according to eyewitness.
Sharing his support on Instagram on Thursday night, Emeka Okoye wrote:
“God will give you the strength and grace to pull through, my brother from Awka. We are covered and preserved by the blood of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I declare healing over your body right now—by His grace, you will recover fully and testify. Odira, you will survive this by His mercy. Amen.
We shall not weep or mourn over any son or daughter of Awka in Nollywood. May divine grace continue to protect and shield us all.”
Fans and fellow colleagues have joined in offering prayers and well-wishes for Nwobu’s swift recovery.
