Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo Slams Critics Over Demeaning Comments
NOLLYWOOD actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has slammed social media critics, who according to him, are fond of always referring to his roles in past movies.
Kanayo’s outburst was triggered as a result of the random blood money jokes played on him, after he recently partook in the Don’t Leave Me challenge going viral on social media.
Usually, there should be a hype man in the video, telling whoever engages in the challenge not to leave. Surprisingly to many, after his wordplay, while he runs off, Kanayo had no hyper man. As expected, Nigerians reacted to the actor’s video, saying he had used his hype man for rituals.
Feeling fed up with the incessant jokes, the multi-award-winning actor expressed his displeasure to the comments, saying the people who are constantly talking about his ritual roles in movies are distractors.
His words; “We are doing something about is Don’t Leave Me challenge, all you’re talking about is rituals. Go and do rituals with yourself. I’m playing a role. I’m not angry but the fact is that there are some people who don’t contribute anything to followership. All they want to do is distract you and when I go on their page, I see that they have only two people following them, meanwhile, I’m following about 1,000 people, so, why should I worry about you? But I don’t want you to distract others, let’s talk real.”
