Nollywood actress, Rachael Okonkwo has responded to her colleague Zubby Michael who playfully mocked her for owning properties while being single.
In the video that has become a growing sensation, actor Zubby Michael is seen seemingly mocking Rachael for owning properties and cars while unmarried.
“She has already scared away her potential husband. She already owns a house and a car, so what will the husband buy?” he said.

Responding to her colleague, the 38-year-old actress countered Zubby’s stance, stating that she wants to prioritise building herself and her life before seeking a partner, and hopes to be with someone who is equally established.
Rachael added that financial status should not determine whether to marry, questioning why she did not marry when she was hustling earlier in life.

“The idea is to be purposeful before partnership. Where I’m coming from is very dark, so I’m not looking for a poverty-alleviation relationship. I want to find myself and be with a man who has also found himself,” she said.
“If being poor is a yardstick for finding a good husband, why didn’t I get married when I was hustling, when I was roasting corn?”
