MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the highly anticipated 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija will make its return to television screens on Sunday, July 26.
The organisers made the announcement during a press briefing on Wednesday, where they also revealed that the winner of this year’s competition will walk away with a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million.
The prize is the biggest in the history of the reality show since it first debuted in 2006.
Preparations for the new season have been underway for months, with aspiring housemates undergoing auditions for the 11th edition of the show.

The physical screening exercise took place between May 22 and 24 across three cities Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.
Participation in the audition process was free, although only applicants aged 21 and above with valid means of identification were eligible to take part.
Eelive reported that the 2025 edition of the Big Brother Naija season 10, which was won by Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi.
She emerged victorious over 28 other contestants to claim prizes worth N150 million, including N80 million in cash and an SUV.
