BBNaija Season 6: Yousef reveals why he is in an open relationship

Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate, Yousef, has revealed his reason for being in an open relationship.

While introducing himself to his fellow housemates, the male housemate informed that he was in an open relationship. 

Following that, Yousef revealed his reason for that today. He did this in a discussion with fellow housemate, Arin. He stated that he likes being open and this fuelled his decision.

When asked if this was his first stint at an open relationship, he hesitated in replying. For Arin, this translated into the assumption that it was not his first time. She replied promptly by calling him a “womanizer”

Yousef then explained,

 “I just like to try my options. I don’t like to take it as far as being committed. I don’t want to take it that far.

“It’s just like you’ve been dating people for long but you’re not sure you’re gonna marry her and she’s not sure she’s gonna marry you, and then time is going.”

Arin took this as a cue to ask him if he was sure he was going to get married.

To this, Yousef informed that he “wouldn’t mind if I met my soulmate. I’ll just go with the flow if it comes because I want to marry young; as young as possible.”

Although, the secondary school teacher is in an open relationship, he stated that he would not entertain an open marriage.  He cited jealousy as the reason for this. 

He then admitted that he knows that his current girlfriend is definitely not his soulmate as they have dated for over a year and are in an open relationship.
