Netflix release teaser for final season of ‘Money Heist’
There’s no trailer yet but Netflix just released a quick teaser of the upcoming final season of La Casa de papel, also known as Money Heist.
The Spanish crime drama has been an instant hit with fans across the world since it premiered in 2017.

The 30 seconds long teaser shows Álvaro Morte also known as The Professor, tied up in chains. The chains, being held by the Inspector, Alicia Sierra, played by Najwa Nimri.

We wonder what led to this situation but we’ll have to wait to find out.
A quick reminder, season 4 ended on a massive cliffhanger. We watched as Alicia managed to find The Professor at his hideout. So what comes next?
The full trailer drops on August 2, so maybe we’ll learn more then.
Money Heist Season 5 is the final season of the crime drama. It’s first part will hit Netflix on September 3, while part two will arrive on December 3.

La Casa de Papel or Money Heist was originally broadcast on the Spanish network Antena 3 before being picked up by Netflix.
Money Heist tells the story of two elaborate heists led by the Professor, one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain. Initially intended as a limited series, the series earned such global success on Netflix that the streamer renewed the series — with a significantly increased budget — for two new seasons in April of 2018, and for a fifth and final season in July of 2020.
The show has won a number of awards, including Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards.
By 2018, the series was the most-watched non-English-language series and one of the most-watched series overall on Netflix.
