Cardi B‘s 2018 album “Invasion of Privacy” has reportedly broken the record for the most-streamed rap album by a female artist of all time on Spotify.
The 2018 album earned nearly 3 billion streams on the platform. Chart Data released the numbers via a tweet which shows that the rapper’s debut album has reached 2.8 billion streams.

It's the most streamed female rap album in the platform's history.
Nearly a third of those numbers coming from the hit single “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin. The song has amassed almost a billion streams on its own.
Despite not putting out an album in 2019, Cardi’s streaming numbers clearly never slowed. Her numerous endorsement deals with brands like Pepsi bolstered her popularity.
Cardi B’s continued touring also pushed ‘Invasion of Privacy’ further over the top.
This isn’t the first record she broke with her chart-topping debut. Last year; she was the first woman to have all the songs from the album certified gold or higher by the RIAA.
She also believes that her success has helped other female rappers.
“I feel like after me it’s easier for a lot of female rappers,” she said in a recent interview.
“Before me, there was no female rapper that was signed to a label. Well, you know, the ones that had been established. Nobody was signing them.
“Now, everybody’s just signing them, if you can rap and you got a couple of followers.”
Cardi B plans to drop her second album in 2020.
