Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charly Boy, whose real name is Charles Oputa, has addressed allegations of being gay.
In a statement on his Instagram page, Charly Boy mentioned that he is unapologetic about the perception of his sexuality due to his choice of lifestyle. He went further to mention that he has fully embraced his feminine side; therefore, it is impossible to shame him.

Taking to his Instagram page, Charly Boy wrote;
‘’For years, many hv questioned my sexuality, some hv openly called me gay.
Anything una like make una talk, because I know for many Nigerians, dey are still living under the rock.
Embracing one’s feminine side isn’t about becoming less of a man—it’s about becoming more of a human being
. It’s about having access to the full spectrum of human experience: strength and vulnerability, logic and intuition, independence and connection.
