Coronavirus: Asa Announces YouTube Concert For Fans

Nigerian-French singer, Bukola Elemide better known as Asa, has announced she will be having an e-concert on the video streaming platform YouTube for her fans and music lovers.

She announced the Stay Home and Sing #With Me e-concert will hold live on YouTube, Sunday, 29th March.

This is coming on the heels of the coronavirus crisis forcing restricted movements; causing the artiste to cancel her three-city Nigerian and European tour earlier billed for march.

In a post on her social media, the award-winning artiste called on her fans to sit at home and vibe to the concert.

“I hope you are keeping safe and physically distancing yourself. I will be having an acoustic concert on @YouTube Live, #stayhome and sing #withme on Sunday March 29th at 6pm WAT/GMT and 7pm CET.”

The tour earlier billed for March 29, April 11 and April 13 in London, Lagos and Abuja respectively, stretches the list of other events fixed by Nigerian singer, but were later postponed.

EElive had earlier reported how, Femi Kuti, Sinach, Asa, Davido among many others have cancelled their shows over the pandemic.

Nigeria has recorded about 65 cases as at today.
