Foremost Nigerian media personality, Ese Eriata, has sparked reactions online after advising women not to retaliate with cheating when betrayed in relationships.
In a passionate video message, Eriata urged women to focus on healing, self-development, and personal happiness instead of seeking revenge through another relationship.

“So, when one decides to lack self-discipline, instead of finding a way to heal, focus more on your career, yourself, your hobbies, your very close friends, finding yourself; you want to reduce your spiritual wealth just because one decided to be poor spiritually,” she said.
The media personality warned women against becoming emotionally vulnerable because of heartbreak.
“Na man hurt you, no dey go meet another man,” she stated. “Another man is not supposed to be a shoulder to cry on, because in penis to be a dick to ride on.”
Eriata stressed that her advice was not about being a “pick me” woman but about protecting one’s peace and dignity.
“If the thing vexes you, leave the person make you go start your life again. If you no fit take the nonsense wey the person dey do to you, no go dey do say you want cheat back,” she added.
She further encouraged women to invest time in hobbies, friendships, and personal growth rather than in revenge.

According to her, many women end up making worse choices while trying to get back at cheating partners. Eriata concluded by telling women to “calm down” and remember that they are “too clean for that.”
