Fancy Acholonu announces split with Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo
Fancy Acholonu, has officially announced the end of her relationship with Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.
The American-born model, taking to her Instagram page on Thursday, announced the split with Ekubo after days of speculation.
She wrote “Hey guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship and engagement and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo,”
“I am aware this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself, because it is important that everyone finds happiness and live in their truth. At this time, my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much.”
In May, Alex Ekubo had announced his engagement to the US-based model and entrepreneur, Fancy Acholonu.
The 35-year-old former Mr. Nigeria runner-up had managed to keep his love life private and away from the public eye. Although they have been linked together many times in the past, the two had managed to keep their romance away from social media. Speculations that the two were an item began flying around after they both shared Instagram stories.
Acholonu is an American-born, entrepreneur, model, and actress from Imo state, Nigeria. She is currently the CEO of a Zodiac sign jewellery and accessories store called, Zodiacaa. In addition, she runs The Fancy Kidz, an agency where she teaches acting and modelling to children from ages 6 to 14.
