Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has publicly voiced her frustration after Air Peace allegedly cancelled a flight without prior notice, leaving passengers including elderly people and mothers stranded at the airport since 6am.
In a strongly worded statement, the actress said: “We have been at the airport since 6am, Air Peace cancelled our flight without telling us, okay give us our bags, they refused, our bags are not coming out, we have elderly people here, our mothers are here, no one is talking to us, they are rude, I don’t wanna do this but I have no choice! Give us our bags and lodge us in a hotel.”

The viral post captured widespread passenger discontent over poor communication, refusal to release luggage, and alleged rude treatment by airline staff.
This comes days after reality TV star Tacha called out the same airline over same issues. The BBNaija alum revealed she had been at the airport since 6am, with her flight delayed for several hours and was later communicated to via email that the next flight will take off by 3:30pm causing her to miss fellow housemate Cross Okonkwo’s white wedding.
The incidents have sparked renewed criticism of Air Peace’s customer service amid frequent complaints of delays and cancellations.
