eelive.ng has obtained details surrounding the cause of death of Nollywood actor and skit maker, Odira Nwobu.
As earlier reported, the actor passed away in the early hours of Monday, November 24. However, fresh findings from an autopsy have revealed that Odira was poisoned.
Confirming the development, the late actor’s director, Arthur Scott, said the autopsy results have left everyone confused.
“We are yet to get the full report, but everything is confusing because we still don’t understand how he was poisoned,” Scott stated.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Daddy Billy has also shared details of Odira’s final moments. Billy in a video posted on social media disclosed that the late actor had been battling health issues and was on medication for three days before his sudden death.

According to Billy, Odira forgot to take his medication before stepping out, which later triggered serious health concerns.
He further explained that three days earlier, Odira had suffered an attack in which his heart was racing visibly. He was taken to a pharmacy where his blood pressure was checked and found to be around 171.
He said, “It is unfortunate that he struggled for his life. Three days ago, Odira had that attack where the heart was beating so fast that you could see it. He was taken to the pharmacy, and his BP was checked, and it was about 171. The pharmacist was shocked and said he was lucky and that if he had wasted time, he would have been gone. It is either you would have had a stroke or you would have been gone.
“So that pharmacist explained and gave him some medication. Now Odira was taking the medication and became stable. On Sunday, he is out. Somewhere along the line, he did not take the BP tablet. In the evening, he started complaining about weakness. When we went out and walked for a little bit, he said ‘’no I am tired I can’t walk for too long but nobody was getting that sign..Nobody could say Odira where is your tablet. It escaped everyone’s mind.
“At a time he said I don’t think I need to continue, I want to go home. We kept moving until we went to a club. It was fun. He also posted videos. He was okay. From there, everyone said goodbye, back to his apartment. We now got another call that Odira’s heart is beating fast again. From beating fast again, he was gone.”
