In a viral video, the actress declared: “Try keep malice first with me ehn baby, I will chikehh you.” She further warned that she would “Chikehh” any man who wants to keep malice with her, using the phrase that has now become a trending slang referencing singer Chike.
The statement is widely believed to be a direct jab at the ongoing scandal surrounding veteran TV host Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, who has been accused of having an affair with singer Chike who is also known as the Boo of the Booless, a situation that contributed to the collapse of their marriage.
Wumi’s playful yet pointed comment comes at the peak of public discourse on the celebrity’s failed marriages, infidelity, and also modern relationships.
