I’m tired of begging artistes for collaborations- Samklef Laments
Samklef, veteran Nigerian producer has lamented over how he begs artiste for collaboration.
In a video shared on his twitter page, the producer who is renowned for producing monster hits like Wizkid‘s Tease Me said that he knew most of these artiste before they became stars. He added that he is fed up of begging for collaboration.
He said:
“You all have been asking, ‘Why is Samklef not dropping these beats, s*** like that…’ Most of these artists that you (I) knew when you (I) was way valid… I’m tired of reaching out to artists and begging for collaboration. But this year…”
He captioned the video: “I’m tired of begging for collaboration from your artist…I new most of them b4 they became stars… they only reach out when they need something from u once they get what they want they go mute.“
Samuel Oguachuba better known as Samklef who doubles as an artiste released his debut album Noni in 2010. He re-packaged and re-introduced it with an international edition titled Nonilizing, released in January 2011.
His mastery of the art of music production is evident on monster hits like Durella’s My Life (Enemies), Wizkid’s Tease Me (Freestyle) and Don’t Dull including Vector’s Kilode and D’Prince’s Jonzing World.
He has made headlines for his ability to weave afro-beats and trap music together that has championed hits.
