Iyabo Ojo’s daughter reveals she’s never seen her Mom’s tears

Priscilla Ojo, a Gen-Z content creator and daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, praises her mother’s strength and resilience.

In an interview on the BTS Reality with Jermaine podcast, Priscilla discusses her upbringing and the valuable lesson she learned from her mother.

She admires her mother’s strength, stating that she has never witnessed her mother cry and credits her for teaching her how to be strong.

Priscilla, along with other content creators, also discusses important topics such as dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts.

In her words, “I wouldn’t say I was depressed at any point because I feel like we came from a lineage of strong women. I am very strong; my mum is very strong.”

During the interview, Priscilla Ojo opens up about her relationship with her father and how it affected her emotionally.

When asked about the impact of not having a father figure, she admits to initially having “daddy issues.” However, she quickly highlights that her mother played a significant role in filling that void.

Priscilla expresses deep gratitude for her mother, emphasizing that she never saw her mother cry. They both have a private way of dealing with their struggles, which has helped them overcome challenges together. Priscilla admires her mother’s strength and the way she handles their difficulties.

She said, “I have never seen my mum cry. We have never had moments when we are crying. We are very strong, my mother is very strong and I learned from her. Even when I go through something, she can never see me down. We have that spirit, that energy of not in this house. I can be on my bed crying, once she comes in, I am dancing and she knows.”

She then encouraged the viewers to stay close to God, as all good things come in due time.
