Kanye West to Expand Yeezy Line into Beauty and Skincare

After conquering the industries of music and fashion, Kanye West has decided to expand his Yeezy clothing and sneaker line into beauty and skincare products.

The 43-year-old rapper-designer has filed legal documents for trademarks in make-up, face masks, nail polish, shaving cream, deodorant, aromatherapy pillows, and more – according to TMZ.

Kanye‘s foray into beauty will be in direct competition with his wife Kim Kardashian and his half sister-in-law Kylie Jenner. The 39-year-old aspiring attorney founded both KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2017.

And Kylie Jenner, the 22-year-old Lip Kit mogul launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 and Kylie Skin in 2019.

Earlier this year, the 21-time Grammy winner made a surprise presentation of YEEZY Season 8 at Paris Fashion Week. This marked his return to the runway in almost three years, catching everyone off-guard but piquing their interest.

His first daughter North West even performed during the runway show!

West reflected on his newest collection in a brief interview. He explained his desire to focus on eccentric shapes, its experimental aspect; as well as his influence and how his spirituality greatly affected his approach to fashion.
