Lil Nas X Gushes About Relationship With New Boyfriend

Lil Nas X is a happy man, and he wants everyone to know it.

The artist opened up about his current relationship in an interview with Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract for VMan Magazine on Thursday.

According to the Industry Baby, his current relationship is “one of the best.”

However, the 22-year old openly gay rapper has refused to disclose his mystery beau’s identity.

Abstract asked Lil Nas X more about the relationship. e confessed that he planned to go on a date right after the interview.

The Montero (Call me by your name) crooner admitted that he and his current boyfriend have been dating for about two weeks. They met “around the time” of his Saturday Night Performance in May.

Just last week Lil Nas X told Variety he may have found “the one” in his current boyfriend.

“I’ve had some good boyfriends and some bad ones. A lot of them were emotionally unavailable or had a lot of insecurity and whatnot,” he said in an interview for the outlet’s Power of Young Hollywood issue.

“I’ve found someone special now,” he said. “I think this is the one. I can’t explain it — it’s just a feeling.”

The old town road singer further opened up about his dating history. When asked by Abstract about the first time he dated, Lil Nas X said he was “maybe 18 or 19.”

“It was very late, like, in college. I don’t even know if you can say [boyfriend] if it’s very much a ‘nobody knows about it, down low,’ situation,” he explained.

The rapper confessed that while many of his songs are influenced by his past relationships, he has never written one song about that particular situation.
