Listen To #NewMusic: “Doyin” – Mr Eazi Featuring Simi

Following their amazing synergy on “Surrender“, considerably one of the standouts off “Life Is Eazi Vol 2: Lagos To London“, Mr Eazi and Simi have joined forces once again on another solid tune, a love song titled – “Doyin“.

Produced by impeccable beat-smith, Killer Tunes, “Doyin” is a short (2:30), soft and sweet mid-tempo song. Mr Eazi begins the song with a direct address to the titular – Doyin – professing his love and begging her not to leave him.

The duo handles the catchy chorus up until Simi takes over, serving up her reply. She sings about not trusting that he actually loves her, especially because his display of affection only come as displays of wealth.

This collaboration comes after the pair both featured on Nonso Amadi’s new EP, “Free” – both shining on their respective songs. With the brilliance of their work together so far – “Surrender” and “Doyin” – a joint EP could very well be in the works.
