Lockdown Violation: ‘This Is Unfair’ -Adunni Ade Backs Funke Akindele
Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has thrown her weight behind her colleague, Funke Akindele who bagged a conviction alongside her husband, JJC Skillz, for violating the ongoing lockdown order.
The celebrity couple came under fire for hosting people to a house party, which was held to celebrate JJC Skillz’s 43rd birthday, after which they were convicted.

EElive had reported that a Magistrate court sitting in Ogba area of Lagos, fined Akindele and her husband N100,000 each; as the state Infectious Disease (Emergency Prevention) Regulation 2020 stipulates.
Delivering the judgment on Monday, April 6, after the couple pleaded guilty, Magistrate Y.O. Aje-Afunwa held that the convicts must serve two weeks of community services; saying they must visit 10 important places in Lagos to educate people on the need to comply with the lockdown order.
While mandating the couple to provide the names and phone numbers of everyone who attended their house party within 24 hours; the magistrate admonished them to be law-abiding citizens of Lagos.
Reacting to their conviction, Ade said the judgment is unfair; adding that her colleague is extremely careful and a law-abiding citizen.
