Netflix to Premiere New Rom-Com ‘Seriously Single’ This July

Netflix is releasing a new South African rom-com titled Seriously Single. Following the roaring successes that were Queen Sono and Blood & Water, the South African film industry is not slowing down on creating content for the streaming platform.

The Ramaphakela trio, Tshepo, Rethabile and Katleho from Burnt Onion productions produced Seriously Single exclusively for Netflix.

The latest title follows the story of a serial monogamist woman; who is in desperate need of fairytale relationship amid the disappointment of heartbreaks and non-committing men. It stars Fulu Mugovhani as the leading lady, Dineo. Supporting roles are by Tumi Morake, Bohang Moeko, and Yonda Thomas.
