Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing’s marriage reportedly crashes
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and her husband, Ekiti born politician, Opeyemi Falegan have reportedly split.
Falegan confirmed the end of their marriage on instagram live on Wednesday. Several reports indicate that the marriage crashed over infidelity allegations.
This is coming just weeks after Sunday said no one could take her husband from her. In the video, Falegan stated that he didn’t want to be associated with her as he said he was not her husband.
According to reports, the marriage saga ensued after a controversial Nigerian anonymous Instagram blog, Gistlover, alleged that Sunday had bagged a deal after she slept with a man.
On Wednesday, Falegan stated while live on instagram,
“I don’t want to be known for any notoriety or anything controversial. I have a name. My name is my pride. I want to be known as someone who has added value to people and who will keep doing the work for people. I have a name that I’m trying to protect here. Anything at all, husband of…Where did you see the husband? “
Following this, Sunday shared a post on her Instagram Stories denying that she had been dumped. She revealed that she was the one who had walked away from the marriage. She wrote,
“The one wen I nor like na if you lie say you leave me. Nobody ever does…I simply take a walk and not say my side of the story cus really its not worth it. Say all you want to say but you see lie? We wear same trousers, na there you go vex me.”
Sunday later took to her Instagram Live where she l mocked some people spreading rumors about her sexuality. She later broke down in tears calling out the blogger behind the reports that she cheated on her husband. She disclosed that she was going to continue this for twenty-one days.
