Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has boldly declared that he is “arguably the hottest artist” in the country at the moment.

The rapper argued that despite his soaring fame and success, he remains grounded.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Jusmen 105.7 podcast alongside fellow members of the Antiworld Gang, the ‘Pity This Boy’ crooner shared a personal story to illustrate his humility.

According to him, he chose to travel for hours to Osun State to fulfill his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment, turning down multimillion-naira offers in the process.

Music is more than just music,” he said. “I’m arguably the hottest artist in the country right now, but I’m still driving six hours to Ife to teach kids—passing up million-naira deals just to serve schoolchildren.”

Odumodublvck added that his decision was driven by a deeper purpose. “The closest thing to God is the children. If you serve children, you serve whatever purpose you’re after,” he said.

Odumodublvck, in a recent social media post expressed admiration for fellow singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, who gifted him the sum of ₦40 million to support the promotion of his latest record, Pity This Boy.

Rema gave me N40 million to support Pity This Boy record,” the post read. Shortly after the tweet, fans and fellow artistes took to the comment session, applauding Rema for his kindness and support within the Nigerian music scene.
