Pregnancy Prank: Nigerian Police Denies Helping Davido Arrest Accusers
The Nigerian police through the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana has denied helping Davido to arrest the two ladies, Helen and Susan who falsely accused the crooner of impregnating one of them by celebrating April fools day in October.
In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday by Davido’s hype- man, Special Spesh, the ladies were seen in an apartment handcuffed to each other while being questioned by the hype-man.
This has stirred up controversies among Nigerians with social media ablaze for days. While some people believe Davido should be given a pat on his back for a job well done, some Nigerians slammed him for taking the law into his own hands, including Former Big Brother Nigeria housemate, T boss Idowu who called out Davido for parading the ladies like criminals.
“It is primitive for Davido to put those girls that accused him of getting one of them pregnant in handcuff, it’s sad he will get away with it”, she said.

The Nigerian police have finally broken their silence, after being accused of collaborating with Davido who just welcomed a son with his alleged wife Chioma to humiliate the two ladies. According to the Lagos police PRO, it was unlawful for Davido’s crew to take the law into their own hands. He stressed that private citizens have no right to parade suspects and only a court of competent jurisdiction can pronounce someone guilty of a crime.
