Queen in Crisis Talks Over Prince Harry, Meghan’s Interview

Queen Elizabeth has reportedly been engaged in “crisis talks” following Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s recent interview.

In an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday the couple had opened up about the ill treatment they experienced from the royal family.

According to Daily Mail, senior members of the Royal Family – including the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William; were said to be locked in crisis talks over the Oprah interview; as the couple’s statement has left the royal family unsettled.

A palace source who spoke to the news outlet described the mood inside the palace as one of “intense personal shock and sadness; and that the prince (Harry) in the interview pressed the “nuclear button on his own family”.

“People are just reeling,” the source said.

While the palace is yet to respond publicly to the bombshell allegations, it was gathered; that the Queen refused to sign the statement prepared by the palace on Monday; requesting for more time to consider her response.

In the two-hour interview with Winfrey, the duchess described feeling so isolated and miserable; inside the royal family that she had suicidal thoughts while pregnant.

Most explosively, she claimed an unnamed member of the royal family had concerns about the colour of her unborn child, Archie‘s skin.

“In those months when I was pregnant… we have in tandem the conversation of ‘he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” she had said
