R.Kelly’s publicist says interview with Gayle King helped R.Kelly
Darell Johnson, R.Kelly’s publicist, believes as the legal battle of the embattled singer continues the interview with Gayle King helped him. He said as much on Monday in an interview with Don Lemon on CNN.
On the issues surrounding the singer’s failure to pay child support fees, a problem which landed him back in court recently, when asked if Kelly knew who made the payment, Johnson explained saying “He ain’t know.”
Johnson claimed that R. Kelly being broke could not be as a result of financial mismanagement. He suggests that people could have taken advantage of R. Kelly when he was buzzing and earning so much.
In addition, Johnson offered, “Michael Jackson made billions, but he died broke.”
