In a bizarre yet relatable twist that has caught the attention of social media users, a Nigerian lawyer, has gone viral for begging litigants- persons involved in a lawsuit, to redirect their spiritual “attacks” away from lawyers and toward their actual opponents in court.
The lawyer said: “If you have a problem with someone and the case is already in court, and you still want to report the matter to your juju, leave the opponent’s lawyer out of it. Stop attacking the lawyer spiritually, attack your opponent only. Lawyers are just doing their job.”

This is not the first time such concerns have surfaced as in 2020, lawyers shared on a platform the chilling anecdotes about “juju” being deployed in courtrooms, affecting witnesses, clients, and even judges.
One user noted, “Believe it or not, juju is real as day,” while others emphasised the need for spiritual protection alongside legal expertise, as some noted that joining secret societies is becoming an option the career doer might be weighing.
Some found it hilarious while others affirmed the reality, sharing stories of unexplained illnesses or mishaps during high-stakes cases.
