‘Stop Sending Me Nudes,’ Naira Marley Warns Female Fans

Azeez Fashola, Nigerian street singer better known as Naira Marley, has warned his female fans to desist from sending him nudes as he is observing the holy month of Ramadan.

The Soapy Crooner took to Instagram to share a video of himself, lighting a stick of weed; while warning his fans to stop asking if he is fasting. He stated that only those who are ill or have mental problems are excluded from observing the fast.

He went on to shame fans who have decided to send him nudes at a time like this; perhaps a deliberate attempt to ruin his fast.

“Stop asking me if I’m fasting. Because it says if you are sick, pregnant, and have problems with your head or mad; those people shouldn’t fast. And I don’t fall into that category,” he said.

“To all of you that keep sending bum, stop sending me now. When I wasn’t fasting you weren’t sending me any nudes, stop sending me bum bum.

Unsurprisingly, Since Naira Marley issued the warning on Instagram, his fans have been reacting to the post as most of them are finding it hilarious.

Marley is known for his controversial comments on social media which has gotten him into trouble several times.

Marley had fizzled into the spotlight in 2019 after the country’s anti-graft agency arrested him on account of his controversial 2019 track and social media comments alleged to have upheld cybercrime.

Just recently, the singer got embroiled in a fresh wave of controversy after flouting the lockdown/social distancing directives of the government.
