Afrobeat megastar Tiwa Savage has publicly expressed her deep concern and frustration over the recent abduction of school children and teachers in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Taking to her social media platform, she lamented that the tragic incident has not received the widespread public attention and media traction it desperately warrants.
The multi-award-winning artist spoke out after coming across a post by fellow musician Spyro, which highlighted the harrowing situation.

Expressing her shock at the delayed awareness of the crime, Tiwa Savage noted that such a critical national crisis ought to be at the forefront of public discourse.
“This kidnapping incident that happened in Oyo State, I’m just seeing it lately after Spyro’s post came up, the issue is not trending enough as it should.” She said.
The incident, which involved the forced abduction of innocent pupils and their educators in the ancient town of Ogbomoso, has sparked renewed anxieties regarding the safety of educational institutions in the region.
