American born R&B singer, Amaarae is out with a new video to her ‘Spend Some Time’ single, on which she features Wande Coal.

With a catchy beat produced by Øbed & Rvdical Tha Kid, ‘Spend Some Time’ sees Amaarae deliver her usual distinct and hypnotic vibes as she sings about wearing her heart on her sleeves, demanding more of her lover’s time and affection, before she’s joined by afropop legend, Wande Coal.

Directed by David Nicolsey forGolden Pictures, the video sees Amaarae perform the song sultrily, as she’s clad in several sparkly numbers. Although Wande Coal is noticeably absent from the clip, he isn’t missed. Amaarae starts off singing the song alone, before she moves out to a party setting and dances amongst her girls.

Born in Bronx, New York and raised between Atlanta, Georgia and Accra, Amaarae is a 23-year-old singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer. She is an artist who describes herself and her sound as an eclectic blend of bold, yet sexy lyricism and longing vulnerable melodies.
