Why I Am Not On the BBNaija Whatsapp Group- Nengi

Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson, an ex-housemate of the 2020 Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show, has said that she isn’t on the Whatsapp group created by her fellow housemates because she doesn’t like trouble.

The reality star revealed this in a Meet and Greet organised by her fans in Abuja. She added that she declined when she was approached to join the group because she does not force friendships.

“About the house, I am friends with who I am friends with. I don’t like to force friendships. I think I am the only one that is not on the group chat. They approached me and I told them no I don’t want to be there. I don’t see the need to be pretending or be in a space with people who…. I don’t like wahala” she said.

Nengi, has continued to pull strings since the end of the show. In November she was named Senior Special Assistant to Douye Diri, governor of Bayelsa state and ambassador for the girl child by the governor.

She recently made her Nollywood debut in the remake of ‘Rattle Snake’, a movie by Play Networks and was featured on Davido‘s Jowo visuals.
