Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has never been one to hold back his opinions, and his latest take on ageing is turning heads.
The artist recently shared that his secret to staying youthful isn’t an expensive skincare routine; it’s simply the absence of family stress.
According to him, the relentless pressure of paying school fees, managing a household, and carrying the financial weight of a family takes a physical toll on men, making them age faster.
Looking at his peers, he believes the daily grind of providing for everyone else is what robs men of their youth.

But he didn’t just point out the problem; he offered a bit of unconventional advice for married men. To ease the burden, he suggests husbands invest in making their wives financially independent.
By helping their spouses start a business, men can share the financial load, which, in turn, might just save their health and keep them looking younger for longer.
In his own words: “If you look at my face and compare it with men my age, you’ll notice I look younger because nobody is stressing me over children’s school fees or family problems. Those responsibilities can weigh a man down. A man keeps providing for the rest of his life, so why not help your wife by opening a business for her?”
