Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has once again set social media abuzz with his latest claim at an event in Benin, Edo State capital.
A video clip from a recent performance in Edo State captured just days ago — shows the “African Queen” hitmaker reassuring female fans in the audience during a light-hearted moment on stage.
In his characteristic Pidgin English delivery, 2Baba declared: “I have stopped impregnating women anyhow. I no dey give belle like that again, I don stop. Ask anybody, they will tell you I am Innocent Idibia. I no dey do that kind thing again.”
2Baba’s onstage quip at the Edo event believed to be hosted in connection with comedian MC Edo Pikin appears to have been delivered in good spirits, with the crowd responding with laughter and cheers and urging the audience to spread the gospel as they were now in-laws.
The singer who now has eight children, parted ways with Annie Macaulay early this year and tied the knot with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawuru who has given him his baby number eight.
