23 Years Later, Yinka Ayefele Stands On His Feet

A Nigerian politician, has brought lasting joy to popular Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele after restoring his hope of standing on his feet again.

Ayefele has been confined to a wheelchair since 1997 after he sustained a spinal cord injury following a life-threatening accident.

To make his dream of standing again come through, the talented musician was gifted a standing wheel chair by Hon. Oludare Akande. He broke the news of his new machine on Friday in a post on his Instagram page. He was seen in the video raising the machine from a seated to a standing position.

“So, I can stand up to sing anywhere,” he said.

He disclosed that with the Sophisticated assistive technology, he feels less pain, he went on to thank the politician for raising his hope of standing again. He wrote;

“I feel so relieved of my pain… Hon Oludare Akande bought this for me.
You will never experience pains in your entire life. Thanks so much..Dare Akande tinje Obama lamerica… You raise my hope of walking again.

“I believe!!!. And it shall be a breaking news.”

This development means that Yinka Ayefele can now stand to perform to the delight of his numerous fans.

Earlier this month, the singer, inaugurated Fresh 106.9 FM, another radio station in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state. 

While speaking on the new project, he said that the project was in fulfillment of his dream to contribute to the socio-economic development of the society through the media.

He added that the project is aimed to connect with the vision of the state government to woo investors and collaborate with the private sector to promote economic advancement.
