Davido makes history with World Cup Performance
Nigerian musician, Davido became the first Nigerian artist to perform at World Cup main event on December 18.
Davido performed the official world cup anthem ‘Hayya Hayya’ alongside Trinidad &Tobago artist, Cardona and Qatari singer Aisha.
His performance happened before the final match was placed which announced the World Cup winner of 2022, Argentina.
Davido, upon returning back to Nigeria, took to his Instagram page to post a picture of him and Chioma, his estranged fiance. He also posted pictures of him singing on stage.
This is the first social media post Davido is making in months after the unfortunate incident of the loss of his son. You would recall that Davido postponed A.W.A.Y live show till next year, keeping away from public attention.
Eelive earlier reported the alleged confirmation of Davido’s come back performance at the World Cup. Kizz Daniel and Patoranking have both performed at this year’s world cup event as well which was during the tournament.
