Leave Abba Kyari to recuperate- Buhari’s PA Lampoons Peter Okoye’s Wife
Bashir Ahmad, President Buhari‘s Personal assistant has called out Peter Okoye‘s wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye for demanding the whereabouts of Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to the president.
The singer’s wife who is a renowned public relations specialist had taken to Instagram to share her displeasure on the enclosure of Kyari’s whereabout. Omotayo insisted that Nigerians would love to know where the COS is getting treated.
About a week ago, Abba Kyari tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
Ever since the disclosure of his test result, his health condition and whereabouts has however remained unknown to the public.
Omotayo queried: “Guys, so the Lagos state commissioner of health just said he doesn’t know where Abba Kyari currently is.
“Abba Kyari is President Buhari’s Chief of Staff and we don’t know where he is? Whether he is in Lagos receiving treatment or in his Abuja home, self-isolating. Did he even go anywhere to get treatment or is he out of the country? Nobody knows.
“How can you say you spoke to him over the phone or Whatsapp and just presumed that he has recovered?
“We need to know as Nigerians if he is fully recovered. Information is key, do not lie to us, do not keep information away from us, thank you very much.”
As a result, Ahmad took to his Twitter page on Friday to slam the PR guru.
“Though I really don’t know who this Lola is, but someone close to her should pls tell her to leave Abba Kyari to recuperate in peace, he’s in Lagos & responding well to treatment. If it’s caring she should also use the same energy to ask the whereabouts of other #COVID19 patients,” he tweeted.
