People need money, not miracles – Timi Dakolo

Singer, Timi Dakolo, says he believes that most people need money and not a miracle. The 39-year-old shared his views on Twitter on Monday, explaining that 90 percent of what people pray for can be solved with money.

Timi Dakolo has been open about his Christian faith and has used it as a subject for a number of his songs. But he believes that financial and spiritual matters are mutually exclusive; that people should not mistake the two.

“Most people don’t need a miracle, they need money. Because 90% of the things they pray about money can solve. They feel so unblessed because they have little of it. They have been conditioned to think that they are only blessed when they have much of it,” he tweeted.

Timi Dakolo occasionally shares his views about money. In 2019, he advised his followers on Instagram to invest their money, rather than use it to sow seeds at their pastor’s request.

He has also been known to advocate for the rights of women and for the better treatment of non-biological children.
