
Actress and producer Yetunde Barnabas has come out strongly against fake YouTube channels misusing her images to promote unauthorized mermaid-themed movies.
In a recent post, the former Miss Olokun beauty queen clarified that she has only starred in two films involving spiritual or underwater themes throughout her career.
Her first such project is the popular Yoruba movie Orisa Aiye, while the second, Olokun Mermaid, is set for release very soon.

The actress noted that there are several movies on these YouTube pages which she shared the images, that shows her starring in this category of movie.
Barnabas urged fans to ignore misleading thumbnails and videos that falsely depict her as an underwater spirit or mermaid in other productions.
“Those are all lies and scams,” she emphasized, warning viewers that many channels recycle old images to lure audiences to unrelated or pirated content.</p>
The actress, best known for her roles in Yoruba films and the long-running sitcom Papa Ajasco and Company, appreciated her fans and supporters, encouraging them to watch only on her verified channels.
