Omoni Oboli, the Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has sent words of encouragement to her fans and followers, urging them to remain strong in their journey and not give up on their dreams.
The actress, who is also a producer, made this known in a post shared on her official Instagram page on Wednesday. She affectionately addressed her fans as “besties,” noting that she sees them as more than just followers but people she loves and appreciates.
In her post, Omoni wrote, “And to encourage you besties: if you’re in a season of waiting don’t give up. God sees you. God hears you. Your time is coming, and when it does, it will be speedy and undeniable.”
The actress went further to share a personal story about how she faced challenges in her early acting career. She recalled how she and her colleague, actor Uzor Arukwe, used to spend long periods at home praying and waiting for opportunities in the film industry.

According to Omoni, things were very tough in those years as they often felt frustrated with the slow pace of their careers. She explained that there were moments when they cried out to God, asking for a breakthrough.
She revealed that during a film shoot two days ago, she and Uzor Arukwe were reflecting on those difficult times. She noted that they both remembered how they once prayed for roles and work, but today they are overwhelmed with opportunities in Nollywood.
“On set 2 days ago, @uzor.arukwe and I were reminiscing about how we used to sit at home praying and crying to God for work. Now we are overwhelmed with it. What a faithful God! I just want to take a moment to appreciate my King, the one who makes all things beautiful in His time,” Omoni wrote.
